Star Wars Trivia Quiz
Posted by tom | Jun 23, 2005Here's a trivia quiz from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that we took w/us to fill time at an MRI visit several weeks ago. I confess that Theresa scored a point higher than me on this one and we are but young Padewans needing a Master. AND more from the Post-Gazette.
For simplicity, I like the AP Movie-Viewer Guide w/trailers of Episodes IV-VI.* What a difference in marketing language where no legendary story of the past could be as exciting as this romance of the future (but I thought it was Long, long ago, they did get that right in VI), creators of the biggest smash of all time, our band of heroes, and an epic of heroes and villians.

The Fox promotional department made the mistake in the trailer for Ep IV; they saw spaceships and assumed a future movie.
My favorite trailer, not shown on that page, was the first one for Ep IV. It was so early and so rushed that it features the same shots of Obi-wan and Vader dueling, but without the sound or visual effects added. They're just waving white sticks at each other. It also refers to "Star Wars" as "a film 1 million years in the making."
