Book review of Charlie Peacock's New Way to be Human contributed by Susan Norman

Excerpt:

New Way to Be Human

offers a fresh perspective on what it means to live in Christ and to follow the "New Way." According to Peacock, too many Christians live and speak only one small part of God’s salvation story. This narrow focus means that we are in danger of missing the bigger picture of what God is doing in the church, in the world and in all of creation. For example, he issues a warning about what can happen if the church emphasizes individual salvation and ignores the rest of the biblical story: "When the ‘personal Savior’ story gets mixed together with individualism and consumerism, a nasty liaison is born" (page 19).
