Consolations for the parents

Mother Theresa sent these short pieces for posting by me while I'm still in 'da Burgh. I'm sure they were passed along from our sources. But here you go . . .

William Tell Mom

The family routine set to Canon in D

PS from Tom:  No doubt the life of the parent is one of daily mystical surrender to the plans & purposes of our Heavenly Father through which one and one's children, by the power of the Spirit, grow more and more into the likeness of Christ Jesus and testify to the reality of the Kingdom of God on earth and in the heavenly realms.  My prayer today is for parents and children as they they face daily decision making, together they will be lead out of love and God's power to faithfulness, willingness/surrender, prayerfulness, and hopefulness rooted in a humble openness of God.  For families caught in selfishness and power games, may fear, willfulness, pride, and cynicism be cast out by a response to the yearning for a different path given by the restlessness of the Father's call through His Spirit, Word, Body, creation, and life circumstances which surround us.  To the praise of His glory and the incarnation of His creational intentions.

Thanks, Groshes! I had seen the first one, in person in fact, at Women of Faith two weeks ago! She was hysterical to hear in person! The second one is precious, and actually so sweet when his daughter walks in!
