Dear Partners in Prayer,

Your prayers were greatly appreciated as Ellen was sick the whole time I was in Chicago for meetings with InterVarsity's Graduate & Faculty Ministry (GFM)  and InterVarsity Press (IVP).  Theresa pressed on w/grace, patience, and strength.  Pray for Eden to overcome her current bout w/the illness which has swept through our family.  Pray for both Theresa and myself to press on, by God's grace, through Holy Week . . . setting our eyes on and reflecting the hope/joy of Christ Jesus.

At the GFM team meetings, God surprised me with the presence of a staff prospect for Pittsburgh.  We had a number of good conversations.  Pray for wise next steps in order that my April 16-19 visit to Pittsburgh may be used to maximal Kingdom advantage.

My time with InterVarsity Press (IVP) and Jim Sire were a great encouragement.   Pray for an increased partnership in ministry between IVP and InterVarsity's campus ministry.  Pray for Jim's final preparations for his April 1-5 tour of central PA.  Pray for his visit to be a blessing to faculty, students, and the larger Christian community.  Pray for focus as I finalize details for his visit, including several site visits this week.
