New Students for the Fall
Posted by tom | Jul 14, 2008I've started to receive emails from new graduate students moving to Pittsburgh regarding housing, local congregations, and fellowship concerns. Pray for good connections (note: I've been passing them along to Pittsburgh's new Graduate & Faculty Ministry Staff Member) and for the next step in their journey through higher education to be taken in the Presence of God as part of the community of God guided by the Word and the Spirit.
In addition, pray for the many who come from around the globe seeking a path to knowledge, position, relationships, wealth, etc. In particular, pray for the people of God to be a light in the community, on campus, and through local assemblies. Pray for the revelation of the reality of the God's Presence, Power, Kingdom, and gift of Reconciliation/Peace through His Son Jesus the Christ, and on-going ministry of Holy Spirit to NOT be missed.
