Most Churches limit themselves

A basic trouble is that most Churches limit themselves unnecessarily by addressing their message almost exclusively to those who are open to religious impression through the intellect, whereas ... there are at least four other gateways -- the emotions, the imagination, the aesthetic feeling, and the will--through which they can be reached. -- A. J. Gossip (1873-1954)

Thank-you to my friend Miller for the above quote. I'm not so excited about stereotyping the problems of the Church.  But it is of interest to me how the pendulum has swung away from the intellect to entertainment at some places and social/familial clubs at others.

Praise be to God for His Spirit of renewal and transformation reminding His people generation after generation that He has come to transform/renew the whole person, the whole Body, the whole creation.  May God richly bless and speak to you and the local assembly of which you are member on this Day of the Lord.
