Jean Duerbeck begins at ASU
Posted by tom | Aug 28, 2008Those of you who were part of InterVarsity at Carnegie Mellon or Grove City College (or for that matter Western PA or even Great Lakes East) sometime during the past several decades will remember Jean Duerbeck's strong Bible teaching, mentoring, and base guitar. The other day I received an email update from her giving praise for God's grace in her transition to life and InterVarsity Christian Fellowship's Graduate & Faculty Ministry in Tempe, AZ. To God be the glory!
Join me in prayer for Jean as she builds relationships, meets needs, and grows the Arizona State University Graduate Christian Fellowship into a witnessing community. In addition, lift up Jean and her husband Guy as they settle into southwestern life through finding a church, supportive community, and local funding for ministry. Especially pray for their Western PA house to sell quickly so they we can focus upon establishing themselves where God has called them. What a joy to work alongside Jean in Graduate & Faculty Ministry, looking forward to hearing a good report when we catch up at Following Christ 08.
