The 7 foods experts won't eat

Do you eat some/all of The 7 foods experts won't eat (Liz Vaccariello, Prevention, 11/24/2009)? Is it because the concerns expressed in the article are

  1. news to you, at least some of the concerns and now you'll reconsider.
  2. unfounded, i.e., scare stories.
  3. probably valid but not enough to break an old habit, maybe one that is only occassionally practiced.
  4. valid, but appear to be a financial necessity which can't be avoided.
  5. a mix of the above.
  6. other ...
I confess that we consume some of the The 7 foods experts won't eat, falling under 3 and 4.  Peeling the apples ...

    I suppose the answer for most things for me is #5, that we do attempt some things, but not really worry about it for the most part.

    Are you considered old if you read "Prevention"? :)

    In addition to various kids magazines, I paged through Prevention, Good Housekeeping, Reader's Digest, Smithsonian, National Geographic, Arizona Highlights at my parent's dental office from a young age ;-) But as I've grown older, I seldom read printed magazines (although I'm all for books!). As with this article, I largely come across magazine articles via links and forwards. Yahoo brought this article to my attention. And yes, certain topics gain one's attention more quickly as one ages with a family.
