An Academic Break Down of Mattress Flipping

Then Steven Strogatz, professor of applied mathematics at Cornell University, has come to the rescue. My question after reading Strogatz's NY Times Opinion Piece is whether we're finding an example of integrating academic and practical living OR if this is what is necessary for certain academics to understand practical living (and hopeful put the skills in practice). My feeling is that many figured have this out by just doing it. But maybe not. Any testimonies or confessions? "Theresa, what do you think about this?"
